All BDSA meetings and events should follow these best practices. If you attend a meeting or event and face any access issues, please contact the BDSA Accessibility Committee at accessibility@archive.bostondsa.org.

Requesting an accommodation

Accommodations are modifications and adaptations that allow our comrades with disabilities to participate fully in our meetings and work. This may include features like live captions, descriptions of images, accessible venues, and more.

If you would like to request an accommodation for a particular meeting or event, you can email the co-chairs of that group to inquire about accessible meeting features. Contact them prior to the meeting and they will do their best to support you.

If you don’t feel comfortable reaching out to the co-chairs, you don’t know who to contact, or you encounter issues with your request, please reach out to Boston DSA’s Accessibility Committee co-chairs at accessibility@archive.bostondsa.org and they will help you.
